How To Connect This
Connecting your Stripe account takes just a few minutes. Once linked, you can collect payments from your customers direcly from spensit for no extra charge. Step 1 – Create a Restricted API Key: Log in to your Stripe Dashboard, navigate to Developers > API Keys, and select "Create restricted key." Ensure you grant "Write" access to the specific resources required for this integration (e.g., Charges or Customers). Step 2 – Go to Integrations: In your platform dashboard, navigate to Settings → Integrations → Payments and select "Stripe." Step 3 – Enter Your Restricted Key: Copy the key (starting with rk_live_ or rk_test_) from Stripe and paste it into the Restricted API Key field in the connection drawer. (You may also use you Stripe secret key however, Stripe recommends using your restricted key for 3rd Party) Step 4 – Verify and Connect: Click "Connect." Our system will securely validate the key with Stripe’s API. Once verified, you will receive a confirmation message, and your payment sync will begin immediately.

All API keys and payment credentials you enter are encrypted at rest and stored securely in our database using AES-256-GCM encryption. We utilize Restricted Keys to ensure we only have access to the specific data necessary for the integration, following the principle of least privilege. Your sensitive financial data is never exposed or shared with third parties.
